I personally think 5 years ago was the most annoying one. I especially remember the one that got them so triggered- when U point out to them they're reading a gay porn and you'd get SO many dislikes and so many comments saying no. they were so in denial.
And then debates of fetishization of gay ppl thru yaoi was something that came up almost every day. I just think it's gotten more chill probably bcs there's so much weird shit that's been coming out in yaois.
5-7 years ago we didn't have that many yaoi like now? am i missing something or that's just the years 2018-2020. I'm pretty sure we had plenty of yaoi, even back then......in fact, that was the time when yaoi was peak popular. plots were good and stories were interesting. unlike now......just SA slop and characters serving face cards with zero personality.
and for your example about readers hating on the guy for his kink. kink shaming has always been a thing, it's not exactly a "new generation" yaoi readers thing.

Doesn't change the fact that people today just like to complain, u can check an old manga u will see comments in 2025 bashing it when in 2021 everyone was so happy about it that's what I mean new generation its not about the kink in itself ots about the concept, the wave of hate and negative comments

Yes but that's within expectation, no? With new yaoi brings new yaoi fans. The content evolves, so do the audience. A new reader who enjoyed a story from 2025 may not be a fan of a story from 2021, so they leave their dislike. That's not exactly weak minded or loving to complain, they just view the content differently according to different times.
Take for example Super Lovers. It was popular enough to get 2 seasons of anime. That's a 2010s manga where 2010s fans enjoyed. But recently majority of people can agree that story is pedo. Different times, different opinions. That's to be expected.
I can see how it could be labeled as pedo cus of the big age difference one was 10 or younger the other close to 20 or above .

New generation of yaoi reader are so week minded , love to complain and can't appreciate what they have , like 5 to 7 years ago we didn't have that Manny yaoi like now , it wasn't that bad but definitely not like now we're a lot of auther write yaoi
For example when I used to read yaoi manga that had bdsm and different kinks and stuff the comments were fine these days I was reading one and in the comments everyone was hating on the guy cus he had a kink and they were like ewww weird like tfk
