It’s very obvious he has some faults but he is still trying to be honest while reassuring. When he saw that what he said was foolish he quickly tries to explain while also reassure that he loves him. Like girl, sure u can get frustrated but who are you to get mad about gay men wanting to keep their private life private. Like it can feel sad for the other guy, but he still pursued him even after the bottom (jiwon) says that he is hesitant to start a relationship and that he wants things to be private. The top chose to still commit and pursue after he was told all of the concerns jiwon had.
This dude seriously needs therapy. He's self sabotaging his relationship for not wanting to be "selfish" while ACTIVELY being selfish with the way he goes about it. Like, no, forcing your relationship into hiding isn't selfless for your man, it's selfish so you don't have to feel guilty about it. It's not selfless to tell your man he looks good together with another woman, it's selfish so you can put distance between you two so your feelings won't get hurt. THERAPY. PLEASE. YOUR MENTAL PROBLEMS ARE NOT OTHER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO SHOULDER.
