but in my experience being THIS insecure does have an age limit. not all insecurity but most of it goes away when your frontal lobe fully develops. it really does. look forward to it.

Trauma. Her parents hated her, she was bullied by other girls, other guys were assholes with her and finally, a 10 years marriage with a guy, full of humilliation physical and emotional abuse. She ended up being a sad insecure auntie.

this is why so many divorces happen to people who get married early. their frontal lobe develops and they realize that everything they worried about was stupid and they start living as their true selves. they don't get more closed off like haesoo. there's definitely trauma based elements to it for sure that can hinder that. but i stand by what i've said. ari's a great example of an underdeveloped frontal lobe. she's not a bad person she's just insecure and naive and young. the moment her frontal lobe develops she's gonna realize mincheol is a pathetic POS

As I said, Haesoo insecurities are 100% understandable and she’s human not a super bot who girlbosses her feelings with no familial support, financial burden, age shamed, abuse ect. It’s not realistic? If anything, I commend her for maturity and patience because with all the mess that’s going on she still pays her bills on time ( minchoels debt btw ) works are and still finds time to treat herself now.
