i feel like maybe because sex is lowkey an intimate moment, and he sees it as a medium to gain control over something. sex is also a very vulnerable moment, and he l hates being vulnerability, so maybe in order to not feel vulnerable he exerts power on others but in the wrong way because he doesnt understand how to treat others. it doesnt excuse his behaviour but it shows how abuse is cyclical if not treated correctly.
I think it's about domination, he needs to feel he's in control, he's the big man now.
i get that he has sex to silence out the voices or whatever but why does he need to get violent during sex?? why does the sex need to be abusive or borderline rape
