i mean he was quite literally abused by his only remaining parent, was abandoned by his mom who technically was like yeah i don't wanna see u ever again ur not my son, alongside finding his father dead/convulsing, grew up in poverty, told he wasn't worthy of anything, honestly him being egotistical and an asshole makes a lot of sense
Can we get a therapy arc for both of them, like please, jaekyungs backstory is pretty good but I don’t feel like explains or try’s to explain why he’s such a dick, he has a temper and he’s hot headed yea but the way he was in the early chapters was beyond hot headed behavior and a temper, does he also have an ego?? but considering his upbringing you would think he’d be a bit more humble even if he’s trying to get the top and will take nothing else, idk maybe I’m miss remembering the early chapters and he wasn’t as bad
