It could be possible he hallucinated but Todd was the devil and Dennis was one of his victims he took his soul after he jumped thats very much the story the wolf preys on the innocent oblivious sheep so yeah at the end his soul is with Todd

Checked the author on twt and saw a couple of comments that made this somehow understandable. I need to sleep so I need to vent this out. Feel free to debate or agree to this. Sad ending or open ending. Sad ending, saw this on a comment too, would be Dennis hallucinated everything probably bc of the loneliness? Bored the heck out of his mind but I doubt it cause the guy warned him but hallucination is plausible cause he jumped. Open ending would be all of it was real and Todd was really the shape shifting coyote and he jumped and they are happy together. I’m gaslighting myself to believe the latter. Silence-nim should really explain. Anyways, thank you for coming to my ted talk.
