It was more so that tae oh didn’t want dongjae to forget him when he disappears, that’s why tae jun told to dongjae afterwards that tae oh wanted to live in the memories of dongjae if he did disappear! That’s how much tae oh really liked dongjae! He wanted to be just a little selfish before “leaving”
