If you’ve red the author’s other work “for your love”. This is a spin off of a side character named Yuri. When comparing this story to the other, The vibes of both stories are very different and contrast greatly. Like in “for your love” the plot is more light-hearted drama and coming of age type story, while “form of sympathy” is a bit more dark and depressing. The read is interesting for sure and both of the main characters(seme and uke) are flawed so that makes me enjoy them more.
Also, if you haven’t red “for your love”, I highly recommend it. As much as it is a slow-burn, it’s really well done especially considering that it was the author’s first work.
