Yeah but I hope they not pass everything after as romance but psychological horror or some shit. I have no problem about people creating asshole characters and story being messed up until you say "yeah he destroyed his life ! But he said sorry so it's ok and the other one should forgive him and be happy with him forever" and pass it as a beautiful romance story
i think after reading bj alex and now reading this... i don't think this author writes about characters that have a genuine justification for why they are the way they are. i think they write characters that are just genuinely shitty people, with some additional trauma that did egg that personality trait on, but all in all they are just not good people.. until they eventually meet someone that helps them become better.
and this is in no way me defending jk or his actions, i think he's absolutely terrible. but i think the reason this story gets so much hate is because the plot isn't fitting in with people's expectations and it isn't going the way they want it to go so it makes people really angry.
trust me i'm one of them, at one point i HATED this and was ready to drop it but at the same time i've been invested in reading it for so long now that i just wanna know how it ends. and i guess because this is fiction after all, it is easier to forgive. so i'm not reading this to figure out why jk is terrible and how he turned out to be this way (because from the looks of the backstory, i don't think we're getting much more than that)... i'm more interested in seeing how he's gonna change, what he's gonna do next, what kind of person he's gonna become and what role dan is gonna play in all of it.
and mainly i hope to see a happy ending for dan because he deserves one the most
