considering a large portion of Korea and Japan still hold major conservative views on homosexuality I'm not all that surprised when I see it play into the plot of a BL story. It's still sad but it's relevant to where the stories origin is based off of.

I’m never gonna not be disappointed how so many yaoi and BL manhwa have the whole “we can’t hold hands or show we’re couple unless we’re abroad”…. It’s so sad just let people be in love
