Elrien (father) doesn’t die. It’s Kanos (Demon God) the prophecy was vague so many thought it was Elrien but people forgot that the Demon King was also Kanos’ “son.” Although, Kanos does reincarnate into an elf and El was able to reunite with him in the future.
Also I heard that Lapis (dragon) does die, that’s true. But Lapis was the previous Elqueeness (before Elrien) so when he died he reincarnated as a God (i think it was the God of war and destruction). But yeah, that’s all I know from the spoilers (づ￣ ³￣)づ
So that explain’s lapis’ obsession with elqueness, no wonder. I forgot that the spirit king’s soul (end the gods by extension) doesnt really “die” they just get reincarnated or their souls go back to the under world.
