definitely not. i enjoyed low tide in twilight bc of the brothers but the story's not as great as most make it out to be. and i tried liking love is an illusion but i really hated both of the main characters. imo the side couples are more interesying but their stories arent masterpieces either.
my main issue with both of these stories is that it doesn't make sense why the main couple fell in love -- especially the tops. idk the romance (especially in its early stages) felt so forced, and it infuriates me bc this is omegaverse. you can literally just use the fated lovers or pheromones plot device to explain the attraction if youre feeling lazy but no, let's make it nonsensical.

you're free to like it. we can like problematic things (heck, my favorite bl is checkmate), but dont claim it isnt problematic and that you dont understand why people dont like it. i literally explained why, in my case
i get taeju has more depth than your average alpha (arguable) but his behavior isnt explained or even tried to be justified properly, given he grew up in a loving family despite being gangsters. even if he "redeemed" himself later on, it doesnt really wash away his sins now, does it? i atleast commend the story for acknowledging that he's terrible -- but he's still romanticized, even back when he was a piece of sht.
Am I the only one who does not like low tide in twilight or love is a illusion?
