I can see the psychological reasoning behind his actions and still criticize him because i am multifaceted. Just kidding. Anyways, even if he actually thinks like that (which readers dont know yet) he actually had more privileges than kim dan. He found a coach who virtually became his father figure and his wife that filled up his life with motherly love for quiet some time. And the coach even linked him up to a better coach later. Kim dan had zero support system and he had to support his sickly grandma
I never liked Jaekyung. But one thing, why does some people automatically assumes that because his childhood is like that, he’d be more empathetic to people who had the same situation as him growing up? Because honestly, some people would be like, ’I suffered, so why should I care if other’s do too?’.. I’m not justifying his actions. But not everyone turns their trauma to be empathetic to the same people who experience the same thing. Not all at all.
