So good but Kinda meh at the same time? Read this in one sitting and all I could say is that the character, plot, design and world building are great but not amazing it falls so short to every aspect it's trying to build. Like an itch you're trying to get but can't really seem to get into because you neglect or avoid others help. That's what I can get from Ishida's writing I read Tokyo ghoul too and same gap is in here too. For example the world building it's good but too vague and narrow, he should have provided an exclusive map for this world. Next, the power system I get we have the basics but not the specifics, he should have made a chart or divided the type of choujin first in a classification clearly so we have some clear foundation, like creation, beast, divination, kinesis and so on and branches and might I add a tier for choujin like A-S or something unique, I get that sui like to play more on the psychological part but we can get into that more cohesively when everything is at its place first. Might I add my frustration to the MC, tokio 1 yr really is short but his counterproductive actions is a double edge sword that gets the reader and his companions like wtf. MC should be Ely honestly I love her ego, sense of self and wants but then again our author most likely relates more on tokio being a underdog and I'm different from-others sorta MC. A good Read truly but needs more wtf moments.
