yall... idek know what's happening anymore. I know a few weeks ago I mentioned i was reading the book but I've finished it now and it's COMPLETELY different - Etienne disguising himself to investigate salt production + near kidnappning didn't happen - The Queen did purge a bunch of castle staff but Etienne does not ever seem to have PTSD over it, though it's still the point at which he saves Ben - Ben getting tortured by the queen NEVER happened he is fine and dandy - Etienne isn't pushed out of a carriage - Antoine admits feelings of love to Etienne but is rejected - Etienne and Theodore never spar together because Etienne tells the Queen that Theodore has been using pheromones on him and the Queen gets PISSED - there's a lot more background on Edwin (the king) - Rishar learns earlier on EVERYTHING that the queen is doing to Etienne
Overall I do actually like the manhwa more... the novel DRAGGEDDDDD and I feel like had a much less proactive Etienne (as in he's sick like all the time and only really tries his hand at court intrigue a few times)
