This is why i hate people who's blaming Sol behavior towards Ian.. I know that Ian deserves treated as himself.. But Sol just yearns for his beloved ones.. Imagine waiting for hundred years just to find out your love one was with your fvckin brother that killed him before.. Arghh
Who's hating and blaming Sol of all ppl??! Did they read with their eyes close?? Sol was doing his best to give Brian his personal space and make his own decisions. He believed in Brian and understood his decisions, but he just didn't want his LOVER to die early. But in the end, Sol lost the only person he didn't wanna lose.
And for Ian, Sol is doing the absolute best he can FOR IAN. Yes, I do think Sol is lingering and hoping for Brian to come back, but Sol does love IAN. Whenever Ian is feeling down, Sol is there to comfort him. And Sol isn't telling him the truth bc it would destroy his mind. Dropping a bomb that the savior you believe in is actually your past murderer & tried to destroy ur bond with ur lover would literally break Ian. Sol has learned about humans since he's lived among them for centuries, but in terms of love, Sol is doing his absolute best to make his lover happy, who is now IAN
Out of everyone, I think Sol has suffered the most here. Learning love, giving up his powers, dedicating himself to the role of a human leader, and having a lover that's preparing you for a world without him... Man, Sol just wanted to LOVE and BE WITH HIS LOVER. He couldn't even get revenge since Brian begged him not to and just wait for his reincarnation. It's been 900 YEARS and Sol has Ian in his path, but he can't reach out to him. And even tho he knows Ian loves him, Ian still clings to the man THAT DROVE BRIAN TO KILL HIMSELF and leave Sol to deal with lonliess. If the author does not give Sol a happy ending after what he endured for love, I will riot. Sol deserves the world for his endurance and what he's done for love
