These men are so unlikable! I was secretly hoping the crown prince would be the sly foxy strategic mastermind type and he'd be different but he's honestly just a loser! So what if you got bullied? A lot of us did we don't do twisted shit like this!
Like I will get behind the assholes and the cold bastards if they're charming enough because ultimately these are just characters and I'm reading a story and I want to enjoy reading about charming characters even if they are villains but these two are just cruel pathetic losers and no more personality exists in sight
And I love angst! the more tragic it is the more rewarding the turning of events will be but can mc catch a break please? Like imagine standing up to pedophiles and abusers from a young age just to succeed in your plan of getting rid of the corrupt people and then getting stabbed in the back so bad and that's not the end of it!!!! Like until the becoming a slave part I'm okay with that's angst and it hurts me good but this new development is just... man this is some bullshit tbh like enough is enough! Why can't we explore that plot and not make it ten times worse ??? No amount of redemption arc can redeem these people now!
