Sick of yall saying there needs be a new character for Jo, a small downplaying his character like he's not important to the MC nor can't handle it. Jo is the new character, the new love interest. There will be heartbreak as this is a love triangle and a NOIR story. If you don't like it find a non triangle and non noir story. Ian is self destructive, he allows everything bad happen to him and yall saying Jo needs find someone else is like a small implication (actually I see lot of you say it) that Ian deserves to stay in punishment with someone who build his instability and condition it for almost 2 decades.
Yall need to realize this is a fictional story but will follow some realistic aspect and formula but it won't turn out as bad as irl would have cost. Saw some compare it to irl saying someone like Jo will die. Yall need get a grip.
