Also, I know we’re technically getting somewhere with the sex poison because none of his wounds are healing, so that should be coming up at some point, but it’s not enough. I want SOLID emotional turmoil, and sometimes that’s only possible by a good ol’ sewer slide attempt :p

Well you will kind of get that... mc eventually like screams in his face as he's dying trying to understand, and ML just does not get it. He's a psychopath, he's got no empathy. Imagine him as a serial killer who does not have to hide his true nature because he is the Emperor. But he still feels desire and 'love' on his terms.
Now MC is always sitting back letting things happen to him, no agency even when people are dying for him, he does the bare minimum. I found it quite infuriating. He doesn't realise the power he could hold over the freaking Emperor! A power he does eventually hold but not intentionally really. One more escape, another near death experience and then, the best we can hope for -no more rape or murder. Because you're right, there is no forgiving the ml or magic 'he's all good now and he had his reasons' no, he's just crazy and mc will have to manage that for the rest of their lives, using himself as leverage to get 'good behaviour' from Garon. It's a tragedy not a romance.
I genuinely don’t know where the authors going. “Yeah he’s a racist, rapist, abuser, assaulter, murderer, committed a genocide, and is the main cause of MC’s hatred and suffering… but he fuck and kiss and clean wound he inflicted so goood :DDDD” like am I really supposed to sit here and wait for mc to actually just… accept him? Maybe im crazy, but whenever it gets this far in these types of stories, i genuinely start hoping the mc will do something truly baller like straight up off himself (a successful attempt or not) out of nowhere just so that we can see the pos truly lose his mind. It would surely make the experience more enjoyable for me, that’s for sure.
