Best story line of any yaoi I've read thus so far!

Oh, god. What's an emotional ride. Where to start?
I like Bongchon was raised as a gentle giant who never intentionally killed anyone. Even in the most tense moments, he was reserved for moving obstacles out of the way. But the only ungentle thing about his is his sex drive, and even though sex is this adult thing, it still manages to be a child a heart during those romantic moments because it feels like the first time each time for him.
I also like Soongap and Bongchong realized rather early on they were receptive of each other. Because from there, due to their different but shared pains, they become closer and open up.
And I think the stepbrother's plot ended in the correct way. He probably believes he's redeeming himself by sacrificing himself near the end, but even at the point, he don't reflect on the damage he actually did, mentally on Soongap and physically on Bongchon. Had the bandits not been there, Bongchon would've been dead, meaning the stepbrother's command on the soldiers to not kill him would've been late, let alone, he also shot at Bongchong. So, at the stage, he still had no idea! His final scene is him parting with Soongap, although I'm curious whether he actually accepted his fate to move on, or he got amnesia, hence why he doesn't remember. That was an interesting dialogue choice from the author.
Gonna miss these two. Maybe I'll check on the author's accounts to see if there's any art of them after.
