He whines like he's "a wronged victim, forced into things against his consent, by everyone" way too much and too often, IMO: while it seems like that was indeed the case with the previous emperor, and then (maybe) also with the current emperor, with the FL he also acts at times like she just came and"aggressively pushes an unwanted contract-relationship on him," when the truth is, when it comes to his relations with her, he is indeed receiving "something" out of it. So, I feel the same: it's kinda frustrating how he keeps acting like she's the one entering his life, completely one-sidedly, or like she's even forcing him to already make everything official with an 'actual wedding'. ...Half of that is just a belief in his head, IMO. Guy just cries "woo is me" way too much, if you ask me...
I don't know why but I don't like the ML much...he is frustrating at times
