I know I can't make a solid assumption out of these chapters, but I kinda have a gut feeling that maybe Baekhee has become a lawyer (I just got that from that one dialogue with him and the ahole gray-haired dude about him wanting to be a lawyer(?), and just how he seems to be an upstanding guy—the way he talks, and how he seems to know about conflicts with law stuff—like that one time with a classmate robbing a store and that with his boss watching the news or maybe it's because of his father being in jail, IDK really. +maybe he would really want to get into law from all that he's been through, he's hardworking as well so maybe he could get by). And then Il-woo has done something serious that got him troubled with the law (I just got this from how he's been acting so far, his subtle words, and what's with that knfe TwT).
I can be very wrong about everything, but just felt like dropping my thoughts T.T
