Ian is a flawed character and alot of people think he doesn't love jo but I think he does. He just doesn't have enough courage and considering his circumstances to let himself think he is deserving of someone like Jo or even having feeling for Jo. People are calling him whore and just bouncing from TJ and Ian but TJ was the one initiating it. They’ve carried nearly two decades of unspoken words, unresolved feelings, and silence between them. Filling that gap with sex instead of honest communication. That kind of conditioning makes it easy for Ian to slip into a destructive pattern, even when it hurts him. It condition Ian to just go with it. I know it frustrating but it's more frustrating to see people putting the blame solely on Ian without looking at his past and his relationship with TJ. Yes you are allowed to criticize his character because it's totally valid but alot of the criticism I'm seeing is simply boiling down to who they're rooting for instead of following along the story. Also I'm not saying this as a Jo Stan when I say I think Ian does love Jo. I'm actually rooting for TJIAN from the start. I want them to develop as a person and be healthy and happy together but I just can't see it happening as of right now... And I love all the characters Jo,Ian and TJ.So I have no problem with rooting for them as well. And also let talk about how people say Jo should go for someone else but in chapter 71 or 72 he said " I'm not as nice anymore...to be okay without you." Many can say Jo deserve better but he does not want better. He want Ian and if that what he wants I hope he gets it. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
