i know it's way too early to figure out what's going on but the cogs in my head are going brrr. the place ilwoo's looking for could be baekhee's neighborhood since he remembers it being run-down and it seems nodeok is avoiding them visiting the neighborhood together atm?? then again it could also mean shit lol. also the flashback of baekhee and his father in the beginning... the composition is interesting cause it seems like we're looking at the scene through the gap of a door or smth and baekhee is either looking back or looking at the hot piece of metal in distress. it's hard to tell which it is, but if he's looking back - is he looking at us as the reader (stylistic choice) or at someone else (perhaps plot relevant)? or, since it was a dream, he was looking at himself? bruh
the forehead scar is kinda sus too. is it from an injury that finally got his father into jail? did he... perchance... lose some memories because of it? although i think if that was the case it might've been hinted at already. AND WHY'S ILWOO'S SHOULDER ITCHY??? he doesn't seem to be in pain cause he uses the arm just fine so is it a nervous tick? he's the #traumatizedtop after all so who knows what he's got cooking. grrr i just wanna know how he ties into all of that. so many questions so many possibilities so few chapters
