i wish i didnt read this because theres a chance for me to react blindly to all the events since this is CRAZY but my fingers just HAD to press +, im going to kill myself it wouldve been so nice knowing all that without a spoiler, i need to put restraints on myself and keep my intrusiveness to myself
Shuri did run away from Neuwanstein's home and begged her mother to allow her back, weeping. When the maid was bathing Shuri she noticed her shoulders covered in bruises. Next morning Johannes arrived to take Shuri back, and maid recalls that Shuri followed him back like a doll.
So gathering from Shuri's flashbacks that are present also in the novel: Johannes found a piece of jewlery (a bracelet I believe), Shuri got as a present from some noble guy, she didnt know what to do with it and hid it in drawer. Johannes found out and got angry so much as it bruised her shoulders and made her run away. After coming back Shuri seems to repress this memory. Therefore when Crown Prince send her the necklace as a gift (important mention, that it has eagle insgnia that can only be used by memebers of royal family) Shuri recalls that event with Johannes.
Jeremy and Nora go to the village where Shuri grew up, and find family maid
