nah this been the abo universe. i just made a comment abt this yesterday under melting point LMAOOO what a coincidence. so what happens basically is that unmated alphas usually get a growth spurt whenever they see/get with a really compatible mate. its to show other alphas that they are better than them physically and more compatible w the mate that is causing this growth in them. they get that + update to their biological disposition. their desirable traits grow, to show that theyre the best possible option

i'm sorry, wut– who? this would result in so many other physical changes, like increased appetite, probably changes in sex drive, and most certainly in energy levels. doing weak things increases muscle strength? not even in the abo universe can i let that shit slide.
