Honestly that makes her a compelling character to me. She is objectively a horrible person, but does things that are advantageous to the main characters.
Oh Definitely! I love it when a character actually has impressive skills that moves the plot and characters but makes awful interpersonal decisions that causes their own downfall. She'd be such a boring character if she was just "bad" without any layers to her
