Tbh I was also confused on that 3 summers thing but I think it's 1st summer -> they got together, then 2nd summer, then 3rd summer (now) -> he's graduating

I agree. I'm the first to point out when an age gap is icky, but 2 years are not bad? 16 and 18 are not mentally that far, and they are both in high school, so it's not a matter of life experience either. I even studied with people in the same school grade who were 2 years older. im just very confused (⊙…⊙ )
