Real sad about it too. But I believe it's just a cycle at this point. I've read BL for a long time now, and I've noticed in old BL mangas there was a lot of normalized SA. (I believe early 2000s?) But through the years, people tried to release more BL with no SA. (Or maybe I just knew how to pick mangas to read before) Now, we just went back again thru the cycle and got more SA in BL

I kinda feel a bit sad with some of the newer works lately. Idk why, but so many authors keep throwing in way too much SA stuff. Like, every single sex scene somehow ends up tied with assault or violence.
Back then, BL manhwas also had that kind of thing, but authors usually made it more subtle—like covering it up with a drunk moment or an “oops, it just happened” kind of vibe.
But now, every time I wanna read a sex scene, the mood just dies ‘cause it’s always overdone with SA themes.
Of course not all the new manhwas are like that, ‘cause there are still some with cute plots and proper green-flag characters. I’m just talking about a few that feel kinda messed up.
It’s such a shame, ‘cause the art has improved so much. Still, I just hope those characters get a happy ending at least.
