The flashback is all sad. Then theres a long ..Kwon ido regretting his actions part of the story, he is suicidal too if i remember correctly, then finally sejin forgives him.

This whole story even before flashback is depressing. Does it ever get happy? Like it’s just sadness over and over. I feel like security guard and the perfume teacher are the happiest of all. And the niece lol.
