Instead of criticizing Ian, criticize the author. 80 chapters so far with no progress is crazy... all of this because she wants her endgame to be unpredictable, when in fact it has always been predictable. The story had a lot of potential, but it was lost in a love triangle. Wet Sand is the best definition of a “cheap and cliché love triangle.” The love triangle is so horribly written here. There’s always a big dramatic scene that could have been used to develop one of the pairings, but it always just leads to smut and extremely repetitive flashbacks and inner monologues that give no new insights. I don’t understand why the author’s main priority while writing this story is to keep her endgame mysterious by always trying to confuse the readers, when she has so many other elements she could have focused on instead.
