yes there's rape but it's not romantacized or the shit you see in bl manhwas nowadays. TW for rape (graphic, not by the love interest), child SA (not graphic but implied) and suicide. It's a very very heavy and emotional story, if you're up for it then read it. I do gotta say tho at the beginning you'll find it very slow

The manipulation between the different characters, and the women taking advantage of the men working at the strip club are just desgusting sometimes, and yes there is also rape.
But there are some good moments between the main pair.
The rape is usually done with an actual purpose (to build our understanding of a character and how they overcame trauma or to show how shitty a person is or unequal power dynamics) so it's not just in there mindlessly like lots of other BL. Very good plot but as u said, lots of plot. Def read it when u have the mental energy
