I'm not sure where the sode story starts I think it's around chp 90 and you don't need to read the main to read the side but the main couple does pop up but mostly!! I recommend you read the whole thing because if you liked the little bit you saw, you will definelty like the rest. This whole thing is about characters with animal features fucking and the chapters are pretty short so you can go through it pretty fast. Anyway hope this helps (づ￣ ³￣)づ
Yes, their story gets more physical after ch.94 (end of ch.93) but there are some chapter focused on them spreaded before this, I specially like the onsen ones where they kiss and it gets steamy, but the author also builds their characters and personalities before that so it's nice to read everything.
Also not trying to be annoying but Kou isn't a tiger, he is a civet cat, very exotic, I've seen pictures he is so cute, native of Asia and Africa continent.
