For someone who always wants to understand a character, I really don't want to understand this teacher AT ALL. I don't care about her life story. I get that her story might be traumatizing for her and I would understand her circumstances and attitude towards the school that made her be like that. What I would NOT understand is her attitude towards her students, like why would she literally include them in her own problem? She is literally FORCING them to adapt to what she believes. She wants everyone around her to suffer like she does. It's like she has this mindset that if she cannot be happy, then no one will. Her thinking is fucked up and I would not blame her for it without knowing what she have gone through. What I would blame her for is the fact that she is giving her students the trauma that she has. How can she literally be a teacher if she cannot even regulate her emotions (not for her sake because it takes time to manage one's emotions especially once you're hurt) but for the sake of LITERAL CHILDREN. She's an adult and she don't know what's the problem with her personality????? GO TO THERAPY FOR FUCKS SAKE.
