Well he had a tone of prejudice against her at first (he thinks her naive, idiotic, unsophisticated and spoiled) and her pride stopped her from seeing all his really good qualities ( that she's literally a fan of cuz he is her Ryan lol) beyond what façade he present the word and that's literally the story of pride and prejudice
