He was showing how dangerous it was to follow and believe whoever like that, highlighting the mc's complete lack of survival instinct and chronic incapacity to identify danger properly. What I find dumb is that he seemed to think that lil bro was gonna be magically ok after revealing that it was in fact him. Like, no, of course not...
well traumatising him for the second time is unnecessary :/ he could’ve just revealed himself after bringing mc into the toilets and go “see? you’re lucky it’s not a strange man carrying you” or something. the touching was unnecessary
but yeah i guess not everyone has a good sense of reasoning lol mc is definitely not okay like you said
