im not sure, but i think the artist may have changed entirely rather than just changed their style. in s1 it said the artist was (i think, not sure if i translated it right) eunbi, but i havent seen anything about the artist for this season. i think, if it is a new artist, they arent good with coloring darker skin tones. all the panels where taekjoo DOES look a little darker, his skin is almost greyish. and if thats the case, the new artist is just playing it safe rather than expanding their horizons. i could be wrong though, i rlly dont know

well rip idk then ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ however just now going back through some old chapters, there have been plenty of panels and entire chapters where taekjoos skin tone is several shades lighter/paler than he should be. maybe its just inconsistencies with a developing art style? hopefully when theyre in different environments and different shading itll get better ╥﹏╥
they're whitewashing the fuck out of taekjoo... i get that the artist and author are korean but damn. show some mercy and bring his s1 skin tone back since its one of the most memorable things about this manhwa
