yes but there was a scene in the past that two men went to "kidnapped" him and said that his dad's looking for him, then he shouted that his dad's dead. it was in of the flashback moments in where he was gone for years, then that was it. i also saw somewhere that someone said that the news about his dad dying wasn't confirmed.
