I have mixed feelings about this. I think many people can relate to MC, but I didn't like how he didn't come clean to his so called friends about his true self.
It's not just that he lied about his hobbies, he literally made a persona for himself. That's some crazy behavior.
The relationship was also kinda weird. MC was so superficial and literally went running back to ML because the dating app dude didn't like Chinese food? I get that MC was actually interested in ML and was trying to find a reason to stop the date with the dating app guy, but it's not like people who date should have everything in common.
I also don't know how to feel about ML's lie. It was overlooked but a relationship based on a lie like this feels kinda off. But also, how on earth didn't MC recognize him?
Anyway, the best character was the dating app guy and I cant wait to read his story. He didn't deserve this kind of rejection.
