Like I get it why Kana chose to betray his brother, but like, it doesn't make her any less infuriating. What really irks me is how she's trying to explain, not even apologizing—as if an apology would do anything at this point anyways—after his brother gets repeatedly raped because of her. Like obviously you wanna explain your actions, but would it hurt you to apologize even once? To show regret for betraying the one that used to support the entire family? That you didn't want to do it (assumptions here), but it was Varey who left you with no choice?
