Because hmm he knows they'll be ok and he isn't dependent on them. He also already has a life here so if he knows they'll b ok, he'd rather choose something that makes him happy too
it was impossible since if they yujin wants to go back, then eugene will die immediately. also, eugene told him that he had a short life span anyways so if he decided to go back, he'll die a lot sooner
