yes! my top picks are "heavenly grand archive's young master," "the return of the crazy demon," and "return of the flowery mountain sect." im honestly very picky when it comes to murim manhwa, but these three are honestly gems and are very highly rated. if you pick up any of them lmk!
theres also "I became the Despised Granddaughter of the Powerful Martial Arts Family" which follows a FL and typical rofan-like story but its set in the murim world and has a lot of martial arts. def one of my favs!
Bro why are you cooking so hard rn ;; but it’s so real how some stories just fall off when the mc grows up. I think one of the few that doesn’t is “I’ll be the matriarch in this life” but that’s also cause it’s not father-daughter focused and has an overarching plot and story progressions that don’t feel thrown in or stagnant.
Also, I think a ton of the father-daughter stories lose interest because I think the story starts to focus on the romance and the father literally begins to fade into the background. Like, the father is literally in the title, but I haven’t seen him in 20 chapters?? Give him screen time please ;;
the amount of ppl hating in these comments is deadass ridiculous. "why is she still a child" the story is focused around her being a child. honestly in a lot of manhwas focusing on father-daughter dynamic, the story falls off when she grows up dont even like.
"i dont like tundra being a dog someone tells me when it stops" oh buddy. buddy. he is a guard dog through and through. if you dont like it, stop trying to make the story into something its not and find something else to read. its literally been like this since the beginning, no point in complaining now.
"shes annoying." brother. brother. if you dont like the literal main character, stop reading. ALL the arcs and plot points center around her, because she is the MAIN character. if you dont like her enough to complain you are not doing yourself any favors by continuing to read.
i do agree with those saying the fight was anticlimactic, but i cant say i didnt expect it. this isnt an action/fighting manhwas, its the kind where they EXPLAIN how strong she is and readers just have to take their word for it. thats just the kinda story it is. if you want fighting, read some murim manhwa, trust me they are SOOO good.
