Oh my..first i've had someone notice that by all means, don't mind it.

I think she finds out something like he’s been back in time multiple times and saw her die many deaths (I can’t remember specifically if it was related to him or not) but that was why he decided to not play a big role in her life this time around and created distance, because he wasn’t able to bear seeing her die again and then yada yada, angst, then happy end.
