What happened in the novel

In the novel, they kidnapped Jinyoon and brought him to a quiet area outside where the demon takes over, alerting various hunter guilds. To help Hajin, Jinyoon held the demon back so that Hajin could shoot him. In addition, Hajin's stigma was shown during this time, which would be the defining evidence that made him the culprit in his murder. More so because a certain someone allowed his stigma to be revealed in I think either CCTV or memory tracking. I do wonder how they will reveal his identity this time though.
