how does it feel to be judged off of something that you like

I'll go first Sometimes I feel a little like I'm being stereotyped. I enjoy BL and GL I enjoy BL more though because there's something I started off with and something I guess I'm just more comfortable reading not because I fetishize gay men quote on quote I don't fetishize it it's not something that's like oh yeah that's how it turns me on no it's like I really like the story The Plot and I guess just the subject I do tend to enjoy things more like psychological mangas and stuff like that no matter the category but I really hate it when people say that some women are or at least mefantasizing men ╥﹏╥ ╥﹏╥

I don't really blame the judgement. As a female reader, seeing the way other fem readers act makes even me feel a little off. But I also don't really care for it lol (The judgement of me reading BL). People who don't know you will judge you for anything and everything. If you know you're not harming yourself or anyone else with the content you consume and enjoy, then just enjoy your hobby.

Even though I do wish more people would give out a different genre a try sometimes, if you like what you like, no point wasting your time consuming something you get no enjoyment out of.

Some men are just insecure and think that we're going to treat them the way they treat women if we find them too attractive. (Not all men, of course)
Even if you do fetishize them, hypothetically, it's none of their business as long as you don't do it to an actual person.

I don't understand why people get their panties in a bunch over it ngl. As long as it's not real people being fetishized, I feel like it's fine, and I'm a bi guy. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
