Like, idk if it's just cause the story is inherently written in a way that, we, the readers understand but the unfathomables intentions is literally just every pet owner ever, they even have a freaking translation device and not once is it used for communicating what needs to be communicated!!
I'm not asking for a genius mc but can he stop spiralling unnecessarily ╥﹏╥ it's like he never learned the concept of self-defense or met anyone who owned pets, that's how clueless he is. He can't even extrapolate information based on his Earth life.
