He's definitely a red flag, but my personal guess for the extremity of the original timeline is a combination of paranoia from the king trying to kill him and sleep deprivation. Bc sleep deprivation can literally send a person into psychosis.
Strange in the aspect of he cut the other guys limbs if if I remember correctly but now he’s just…a softy. Somethings not really adding up. Like don’t get ,e wrong he keeps threatening death but is it a simple trope of “he’s different” ie the mc to the ml. Like to adorable to harm or is it that he actually genuinely hated the original mc and if so why so much hate? Simply pride?
