I don’t think it’s gonna be the same ending. They’re adapting the story directly from the light novel. And the novel isn’t finished yet, I think.

The novel has three volumes so far!
1. Utsukishii Kare (My Beautiful Man)
2. Nikurashii Kare (My Hateful Man)
3. Nayamashii Kare (My Troublesome Man)
I read them on kindle. They’re licensed to English right now. I don’t have any links for unofficial translations, so that’s all I can give you :)
Also, the author just released the fourth volume but it’s only in Japanese so far. So I haven’t read it yet myself
