Honestly, this has Mingwa written all over it. The ML in BJ Alex basically does the same thing(i.e. disrespectful to the MC until the MC decides to leave, suddenly realizes his affection for the MC overnight, then chases, knows little to nothing about the MC still).
I think it just feels different bc the JJK is so much more of a jackass than the ML in BJ Alex.
