Youre not wrong completely but this is only an aspect of him and theres a lot more to his feelings than simply this. He sure was loyal and loved his wife but his wedding their situation esp his bond with nephyths were all orchestrated by osiris. Him falling for horus was a a choice seth did on his own finally. Also theres more than what meets the eye here... if past life HTE and horuseth theories turn out to be true then it'd really prove the things that ive mentioned abt osiris. Again not saying that seth never loved neph n anubis. Major plot happens because of anubis n seth. But their marriage was doomed from the start. Their arrangement a puppet show set up by osiris pulling the strings. He kept breaking seth and had nephyths heal him and towards this end he made it so that theyll fall in love n marry. Also by seths own words - he never had the chance to be himself he hated wars but was always protecting Egypt's Borders for the sake of his family he kept up his persona as the undefeated god of sand and war but neither nephyths loved him for himself truly nor their marriage was smth thatd have sailed anyway. Also theres the constant hinting of past life circumstances that mojito keeps hiding here n there. So ill just say pls dont feel that he's someone who'd simply accept just abt anyone who'd soothe his pain. Its entirely off the mark and definitely not like this.

Ah i was replying to op who said he'd accept anyone whod sooth him. I agree with your reply completely. He IS indeed emotional af even tho thats very taboo n unnatural of a god to do. These last two chapters were full of subtle but very obvious signs that seth is a very emotional n sentimental entity who deeply values whoever he decides to care about. The way he kept staring seriously while the mirror babbled n waited for horus to refute solidly, the way his eyes blanked when he mumbled "fake" and that one panel where he mutters "ofc its not possible for anyone to love him" . He's actually devasted as fuck believing hathor that horus doesnt love him genuinely and therefore He's running away. Part of the reason why he wants to see nephyths. They didn't get to have a final farewell it was due+ he had wrongly assumed abt neph cheating om him so as a honorable guy ofc he would want to meet her n confirm things. Not only is it manipulated but if theories prove true its a veryyy veryy tragic and sinister manipulation at that. Nephtys has the power to restore peace or bring peace to someone. Seth's soul is dangerously unstable due to what we theorise, a botched ascension, one like anubis and not only that, osiris kept breaking n mending him which is so life threatening cuz hello that mf made him almost fade and nephyths was tasked with the duty of piecing him back together and bringing him peace. She was the leash osiris used to keep seth close right beside him and also used her as a form of sedation like life support plug holding Seth's existence together..over the course of years ofc they'd grow feelings n osiris made them marry. But their marriage is such a pitiful sham. Not even their son is their own. And nephyths is ofc a victim of osiris but somewhere she's also a suspected accomplice cuz otherwise why would she willingly allow herself to stay locked up n displayed extreme guilt. Seth is not gay or even bi. He has a lot of wounds as a victim of multiple SAs and he is willing to accept anyone that soothes his pain and makes him forget it all if even for a short while...he has always loved his wife and child
